Anderson .Paak is a renaissance man. He’s a rapper, producer, singer – and now, an Aftermath signee. The jack of all trades posted the following celebratory announcement on Twitter last night:

Anderson’s presence blew up after his participation in Dr. Dre’s Compton. In early January, Pitchfork named his album Malibu Best New Music. Malibu features Schoolboy Q, The Game, and Talib Kweli.
Why does Anderson .Paak use the dot in his name? He told NPR, “The dot stands for ‘detail’ — always be paying attention to detail.”
