Danny Brown Signs to Warp, Drops Video for New Single ‘When It Rain’ (Watch)

Detroit's reigning oddball has joined forces with left-field British record label Warp

Detroit rapper Danny Brown is one of the most vital voices in contemporary hip hop. Fact Magazine reports that Brown has left Fool’s Gold (who released his last two full-length releases, XXX and Old) and signed to Warp (who will release Aphex Twin’s Cheetah EP next month). The union seems promising: the eccentric hip hop artist paired with a left-field indie outpost known for experimental electronic releases.
