Frank Ocean Fans are Going Berserk About His Latest Album Delay

The New York Times promised the release of 'Boys Don't Cry' today, but it still isn't here

On Monday, The New York Times declared that pop/soul demigod Frank Ocean would release his new album, Boys Don’t Cry, today. Ocean spent the week teasing fans with sparse, mysterious video art pieces that the artist streamed at boysdontcry.co. But it’s 9AM Eastern Time, and the album still isn’t here. Fans are going apeshit.

Fans at Reddit were frantically posting updates in the middle of the night as they scoured internet for clues. “If this album doesn’t drop soon I’m quitting Frank Ocean,” said one fan. Even Snapchat is frustrated; the app released a new filter picturing a Frank Ocean fan as a waiting skeleton.
