Today we’re premiering the song ‘Tower’ by Fronds, whose new album Cold Across My Skin is due July 28th on Gold Robot Records. Cold Across My Skin is the second Fronds album. It was recorded in solitude at home by Dylan Tidyman-Jones in the late fall of 2015. The record was mixed with Robert Jackson and mastered by Timothy Stollenwerk. Listen to ‘Tower’ below.

Tidyman-Jones described ‘Tower’ in an email. “Like the other songs on Cold Across My Skin,” he explained, “’Tower’ was written and recorded in the fall of 2015. Without going into it too much, I felt like I was being hunted by invisible phantoms, who could see me because of the warmth of my blood. The lyrics in the first half of the song are about that fear, the desperation I felt, clinging to life and love. The rest are instructions to myself, reminders of the potential for positive daily action.”
