95.5 KLOS / Jonesy's Jukebox
Last week, two true punk icons sat down for a chat when Glenn Danzig was a guest on Sex Pistol Steve Jones’ radio show, Jonesy’s Jukebox. The two rock gods dove right into a freewheeling conversation about all manner of conspiracy theories. Danzig had a cold that he believed to be “some kind of government bioengineered virus.” Discussing California wildfires, Danzig remarked, “I have a theory about fires in California: terrorism. It’s maximum amount of carnage for the littlest amount of money. A match and a can of gas. And you go out in the brush, and boom. Doesn’t cost a lot of money, and it’s done.” Jonesy was the perfect foil for the conspiracy theory talk; the good-natured guitarist didn’t bat an eye at some of Danzig’s more outlandish ideas.
When Steve Jones asked whether Glenn believes in ghosts, Glenn replied, “I don’t disbelieve. I don’t necessarily that if there is a ghost, that it can physically touch you. I think it’s probably more people being scared, or maybe psychically they can affect you. Physically I don’t think (ghosts) can actually touch you.”
Danzig also discussed his upcoming Blackest of the Black Festival. Watch the incredibly fun conversation here:
