Jawbreaker Reunite for Riot Fest 2017

The seminal punk and emo band will perform onstage for the first time in 21 years

Seminal punk and emo band Jawbreaker will reunite to headline this year’s Riot Fest, marking the band’s first performances in 21 years. Riot Fest 2017 is scheduled for September 15-17 in Chicago’s Douglas Park, and also features performances by Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Wu-Tang Clan, and more.

Jawbreaker is guitarist and vocalist Blake Schwarzenbach, bassist Chris Bauermeister, and drummer Adam Pfahler. The band released four albums between 1990 and 1995, and is considered a seminal act of the emo movement. Watch the band’s video for ‘Boxcar,’ from 1994’s 24 Hour Revenge Therapy:
