Today we are stoked to premiere the song ‘Beast Went Pale’ from Fresno four-piece Light Thieves. ‘Beast Went Pale’ is an expanding cosmos that unfolds one layer at a time; celestial riffs and soaring vocals ripple throughout the composition. Vocalist Mike Adame sings, “Watch me floating away through stars / I become new.” The song blossoms with reverb-drenched melodies as it coasts on a buoyant groove.
‘Beast Went Pale’ is a cut from Light Thieves’ new LP Future Colors, which will be available digitally and on clear vinyl in a limited release of 200 via Gotta Groove Records on March 10th. Future Colors follows the band’s 2013 LP Spirit Homes. The album was recorded and mixed by Chris Mathews, Jr. at Big Sound Studio in Seattle, WA. Light Thieves is Mike Adame (synths, vocals), Joel Melton (guitar), Erica Salazar (bass), and Kaleb Saldate (drums).
