Brooklyn’s Meek is Murder continue to churn out uncompromisingly brutal metal on their new album, Was (out July 15th, available here). Their new track ‘Full Hearts, Empty Rooms’ opens with a killer halftime stomp before plunging abruptly into a crusty, frenetic riff that’ll make your head spin faster than Linda Blair’s.
I caught up with frontman Mike Keller (via Skype) during his tour stop in Bristol, UK for an interview about the band’s first European tour, working with Was producer Kurt Ballou, and why Rodney Mullen is the man. Listen above or in iTunes.
