Open City is a Philadelphia hardcore band featuring four stalwart figures of hardcore punk. The band includes Dan Yemin (Paint It Black, Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, Armalite), Andy Nelson (Paint It Black, Ceremony, Dark Blue), Rachel Rubino (Bridge And Tunnel), and Chris Wilson (Ted Leo & The Pharmacists). According to the band’s bio, Open City “brings together collective decades of experience in East Coast punk and DIY communities, specifically ones known for prying open the melodic sides of punk rock, hardcore and post-punk.”

Today, the band has released its self-titled debut album (which is streaming below via Bandcamp; it’s also available on vinyl/cassette).
