‘The Simpsons’ will air its first-ever hourlong episode this month, which its creators have said is an homage to hip-hop. The episode will feature guest performances by Snoop Dogg, RZA, and Common. According to Rolling Stone, the episode is titled ‘The Great Phatsby,’ with Homer serving as a Simpsonized version of The Great Gatsby protagonist Nick Carraway in a hip-hop-themed story.
Comedian Keegan-Michael Key also appears in the show as a ‘washed-up rapper’ named Jazzy James, as The Fader reports. View a clip of the episode here, with behind the scenes footage:
