Seminal Britpop greats The Stone Roses have released their first new song since 1995 (listen below, via Spotify). The Mancunian rockers are best known for their self-titled 1989 debut, which helped inspire a generation of Britpop titans including Oasis and Blur. ‘All for One’ is exactly the kind of soaring guitar anthem that the Stone Roses do best.

It’s hard to underestimate the influence of this band. “In the case of The Stone Roses,” explains Noel Gallagher in the video below, “that was why [Oasis] started a group.”
