Yoko Ono has a collaborative art exhibit called ‘Yoko Ono: One More Story’ at the Reykjavik Art Museum. According to an Icelandic news site, that show includes a work titled ‘A Single Plum, Floating in Perfume, Served in a Man’s Hat,’ by artist Ragnar Kjartansson. The work is a literal interpretation of a scene from an episode of ‘The Simpsons,’ wherein Ono is pictured requesting that absurd ‘beverage’ from Moe the bartender. That scene was a sendup of Ono’s art-snob reputation, so referencing it in her art show is pretty clever. It also begs the question: was Ono aware of the reference, and self-aware enough to get the joke?

Remember The Simpsons when @YokoOno asked for "a single plum, floating in perfume"?
